Introducing Quartier Social Club
Quartier Social Club is the next evolution of Distinct Style Club — a curated space for living beautifully and intentionally, from wardrobe to home to community.
If you’ve been here awhile, you know I started Distinct Style Club with a (somewhat) simple goal in mind: help women find themselves, and their confidence, through personal style.
I started with closet edits, color palettes, and outfit formulas – all helpful building blocks in a bigger belief: how we get dressed has the power to change how we feel…and how we feel shapes how we move through the world.
And somewhere along the way, I started to feel the momentum shift towards that last part.
Each week, as I wrote about personal style, it forced me to examine how deeply style is connected to everything else – our homes, our values, our routines, and even how we connect with one another.
It all funneled back to one of the core principles that this space was founded upon: personal style isn’t just what we wear, it’s how we move through the world. It’s about living with intention, noticing what makes us feel most ourselves, and then choosing more of that.
So I followed that thread, and it led me here: Quartier Social Club.
Why Quartier Social Club?
Quartier means neighborhood in French — a nod to my love of place and community.
Social Club captures what I’ve always wanted this space to be: a gathering of curious, intentional people who care about creating lives and places they love.
This new name also reflects my creative work in recent years – through both my writing projects and in my professional life helping communities find creative, practical ways to thrive. Quartier Social Club brings all those threads together under one philosophy: that design, in every sense, can make life more beautiful, functional, and rich.
What’s Changing (and What’s Not)?
Distinct Style Club will always be a dear-to-my-heart part of this story. It taught me (and so many of you!) how clarity and confidence starts in the mirror each morning. But now my focus is bigger than that.
On Quartier Social Club, I’ll still talk about style, but also about design, home, food, travel, community, creativity, and, most of all, the everyday decisions that shape how we experience where we are.
As part of this transition, I’m closing my personal styling services, but you’ll still find plenty of thoughtful content + free resources for you each week. Here’s what you can expect to see upcoming on the blog:
Embracing Place: Deepening connection to your community, creating belonging, and making the most of where you are.
Everyday Culture: The small traditions, daily rituals, and little things that make life richer.
Intentional Living: Choosing with care, living with meaning, and designing your days with purpose.
And yes, Signature Style, Simplified: Not trend-chasing, but curating a home, wardrobe, and aesthetic that supports how you actually live.
When I was planning this transition, I envisioned Quartier Social Club as a virtual version of a cool, neighborhood cafe where you go to connect with people who agree that you don’t have to move, buy, or reinvent everything to create a life you love. You can start right where you are.
& Thank You.
To everyone who’s been here since the early Distinct Style Club days: THANK YOU. This evolution wouldn’t exist without you. You’re the reason this community has grown into something that feels much bigger and yet even more personal.
Here’s to what’s next.
Here’s to a space for belonging.
Here’s to Quartier Social Club.
